Trauma of birth is not fully explained and parents are not aware or prepared for the varied birth versions that occur. It is a sorry situation that most parents have the list of preparations, cot, car seat etc. but forget about themselves being prepared. Birth is a big thing in anyone’s lives. It changes life as we know it and can be a strain on relationships when an infant is distressed from birth trauma.
